We have also revisited the Intellectual Traits that we have worked with over the last couple of years
Problem-Based Passion Research
Check out this great music video that was used to get the students thinking about what problems and issues they feel passionate about and would like to explore. Some students enjoyed collaborating with other PAT students across the district on their projects! We will be presenting our projects this spring in April to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes.
Currently the 5th graders are preparing for our day at MarketPlace in Grand Prairie. They have completed job applications and many will be going through an interview process in order to secure a job. Some students have thrown their hat in the ring and are running for Mayor, Judge, or President of the Credit Union. We won't know all of our job placements until after elections - probably once the students return from Sky Ranch. Our field trip to MarketPlace will be Thursday, May 9, 2013!
